Bike was a flat course time trial with the only turn being the turnaround so I used 2 gears the whole ride. Average speed was 18.9 mph on the SST. Lots of fast, old men there so I ended up with a 6th out of 8 for my 169th tri. My first 2 mile run was 17:20 and the second 17:07. Total time was 1:24:13.
The winner, David Morrow, is the current 65-69 duathlon world champion and finished in 1:08:32.
SCT's Jason Ward got a second in Clydesdale and his son Jacob raced for UCF. Racked by me were a pair of identical twins doing their first tri; Darla and Carla Forrester. JP (John-Paul Russo) was there fixing bikes and USAT Referee Jill Bowers was keeping everyone honest.
